Fellowship of the Parks

Welcome to Fellowship of the Parks
Fellowship of the Parks is a church where everyone can find a family. We are made up of people from all walks of life, who come together to worship God. We have a big heart for adoption and caring for orphans. We are passionate about creating healthy marriages. We believe God’s plan for each person is that they would be adopted into His family through faith and, in turn, they would care for the people around them.

Was there anything about this week’s message that was surprising to you? Was there a specific point or Scripture that made you want to elbow the person sitting next to you? Or maybe made them want to elbow you? What was the one thing you remember most from the message?

Digging Deeper:
In a world of social media and highlight reels, it’s pretty easy to not feel special. We start to compare ourselves to others, and lose sight of the fact that we were custom-made for this particular point in time. Remember that, “you are fearfully and wonderfully made.”
Read Psalm 57:2 and Psalm 33:11

Do you believe that God has a unique purpose for you? In what ways has he made you unique?
When something is custom-made, no other person can fulfill that role. No one can do what you were called to do. No one can be who we are called to be. God’s purpose for you is just for you.
Read Proverbs 20:5 and Romans 8:28

What are the results when we try to live outside of who God created us to be?
When we stop pretending to be someone else, we can figure out and find who we really are. There is such great peace that comes with being exactly who God created you to be. Who wouldn’t want that?
