What is the One Thing that I struggle with letting go to accept and pursue the abundant and eternal life of Jesus?

One thing made the difference between the rich young ruler's confidence in what he had accomplished and how he really needed to live in order to receive and live out the abundant and eternal life that Jesus gives.

BIG IDEA:
What's the one thing that distracts me from the new life that Jesus offers?

The rich young ruler represents anyone who thinks that the path to eternal life rests upon what is possible with man.

Let go of the possible to trust God for the impossible.

Someone's one thing maybe represented by the statement:
"If there is a God and He is good, then He will reward good people for doing good."

God is good, but...

The most secure life is one that we let go off in light of God's goodness.
