Our Easter Celebration begins on Thursday April 14th with a Maundy Thursday service.
The word “Maundy” comes from a traditional Latin phrase from John 13:34 meaning Maundy Thursday comes from Jesus’ command in John 13:34 meaning to love one another. So we start our Easter Celebration by worshiping, celebrating communion together, and remembering to love and serve one another.
Join us for our Easter Services on April 17 at 9:15 and 11:15 am and bring a friend with you.
When Good Enough is Not Good Enough

Aren’t there multiple paths to heaven?

The common denominator is not a belief system.
The common denominator is they’re good people.

Why would God invite someone into heaven?
What’s appealing about good people going to heaven?
72% of people believe in Heaven.
75% of people believe they’ll go to heaven.
Good Enough?
It’s a fair system.
You’ll make the cut.
Motivates you to be good.
It’s consistent with the idea of a good God.
Problems With Being Good
1. Good is a Relative Term
If good people go to heaven, somebody owes it to us to tell us what’s good.
Problems with Being Good
1. Good is a Relative Term
2. What’s the Grading System?
What age does it start?
Is it a weighted system?
If you embrace good people go to heaven, you are embracing injustice.
Problems with Being Good
1. Good is a Relative Term
2. What’s the Grading System?
3. Good Enough Calls Jesus a Liar.
Jesus taught that bad people can go to heaven.
The best of the best weren’t going to get there.
The worst of the worst could be forgiven.
God is not looking for a standard of good, but a standard of innocence.
Jesus taught that forgiven people go to heaven.
