Conversation Starters help us dig deeper, connecting Sunday’s sermons with our Monday lives. These prompts have been designed to help Community Groups grow in their relationship with God, with one another, and with their neighbors. Please know that these questions are meant to be a resource to you. You do not have to follow them verbatim or get through them all. We trust you to know your group and to ask the questions based on your group needs.

1. Talk about the time you first remember hearing John 3:16; what were your thoughts and feelings?

2. Read John 3:16-17. We often seem to forget John 3:17. What is communicated in this verse that is important?

3. In what ways could you use John 3:16-17 as a verse to share the gospel?

4. Go back and read John 1:1-5. In what ways does this relate to John 3:20-21?

PRAYER PROMPT
Pray that as followers of Jesus, we would live into the light, love the light, and bear witness to the light in everything we say and do.
