Annual Missions Bake Sale - Next Sunday, February 27
The Bake Sale is scheduled for next Sunday after the special-called church conference.
Missions Committee Report
Do I hear $10, $25 $30.... Bake Auction is coming. It will be held on February 27, just after the special-called church conference. We are needing baked goods for the auction and some cash and carry items, like 1⁄2 dozen cookies or brownies, etc. The sign-up sheet is in the foyer. I am also looking for phone bidders. What is a phone bidder you
ask? Someone to be on the phone with those that could not be at the service to take bids. More details on how that will work in the next Equipper. The committee will be meeting on the 22nd, so we will have updates next week.

Possible Cultivate Group
Pastor James is interested in leading a three-month Cultivate Group. The group would meet every two weeks. The group would discuss the biblical teachings of T.B. Maston—a longtime professor of Christian Ethics. Topics would include the authority and relevance of the Bible, evangelism, Christianity and world issues (such as race relations, economics, war, and the family), and Christian morality. A book is available for the study though not necessary. Please let Pastor James know today of your interest.

Signage and Foyer Update
We are making great progress on our signage and foyer updates. We thank the Property and Space Committee for their leadership! Here are some updates about the project.
GOALS
To improve visibility of parking on the church campus; especially for guests
To accomplish minor changes in the worship center foyer for good first impressions to guests
OBJECTIVES
Feature visibly appealing and accurate signage to direct traffic from Slaughter Lane.
Enhance the features of the guest parking spots on the north side of the worship center.
Provide more features near the guest parking spots to direct people to the church entrance on the north side of the worship center.
Create a more “guest-friendly” motif in the worship center foyer for younger guests and members.
STRATEGIES
Purchase two more “A-Frame” signs in addition to the ones we already have (COMPLETE).
Purchase inserts for the A-Frame signs with yellow lettering on black (or black on yellow) with arrows and wording to direct people to guest parking (COMPLETE). Place the A-Frames at strategic locations at the entrances from Slaughter and on the “big” parking lot adjacent to the field.
Purchase two “tear drop” shaped flags and place at the far right and far left corners of guest parking spots (COMPLETE).
Purchase seven yellow cones to put at the head of each guest parking spot.
Paint yellow striping on the edges of the sidewalk leading from the guest parking to the church entrance (TO BE COMPLETED ON CHURCH WORKDAY).
Remove all but two information tables from the worship center foyer (COMPLETE).
Purchase a “pub table” to place near the entrance of the sanctuary as a “guest central” location (ON ORDER).
Purchase three pub tables to place in strategic locations in the worship center foyer (ALMOSTCOMPLETE).
Consider painting the walls of the foyer with a neutral color (COMPLETE).
Hang new large Banners for the Portables.
Place a new large banner on the field fence.
Place new logos on the marquee sign on Slaughter and Administrative Office.
Place new portable and playground signs.
Place new guest and senior parking signs.
