We must preach repentance, because there is a difference between right and wrong, because self-control is possible through the Holy Spirit, and because there is a coming day of judgment

(a) Remorse: developing godly sorrow over sin

(b) Reversal: beyond restitution, a change of heart

(c) Rest: surrender to God
