Quarterly Sunday School Leaders Meeting TODAY (CMB Choir Rm.)
Pastor James will be meeting with all adult Sunday School leaders today following the morning worship service. A light lunch of rotisserie chicken salad mini-croissant sandwiches will be served. This is a new, quarterly get together so we can communicate about what the various classes are doing, receive some equipping from the pastor, and pray for one another.
“Go All In” 2022 Goals and Objectives
Pastor James will be sharing a video presentation of goals and objectives for the church in 2022 on our Facebook Page and YouTube channel on Sunday evening. Please view and share this video as a way of creating excitement and interest!

Garage Sale Leader Needed
A project manager is needed for the Garage Sale. This year’s Garage Sale is scheduled for April 2. The project manager will help establish
the layout and work needed prior to and during the event. Let us know of your interest by contacting the church office or a member of the Missions Committee. Please let us know by Wednesday, February 9.
Outdoor Stage Project Team
The Property and Space Committee is organizing a Stage Project Team. The Stage Project Team will consider the building of an outdoor stage in the church courtyard and make recommendations to the
Property and Space Committee. Considerations will include
materials used, size and height of stage, railings and access,
connection to the CMB, electrical plugs, stage wiring, and costs.
Any church member may volunteer to be considered for team
participation. If you are interested, please contact Pastor James
or Jon at 512-292-6800 or Stan Cross, chairman of the Property
and Space Committee. Please communicate your interest by next
Sunday, February 6. The committee will appoint team members
and designate a team leader.

Outreach Event
Put February 12 on your calendar for a missions/outreach event
on our church field! We are planning to serve hot chocolate and/or concessions to the families who play in I-9 sports league activities. The serving would start at 10:30am. This will be a great way to build relationships with many people and to know our neighbors. We’re also hoping that this could be a bridge to church life. Stay tuned for updates!
Annual Missions Bake Sale
The Bake Sale is tentatively scheduled for February 27 to correspond with the beginning of Lent! The hope is that the latest Covid19 wave
will be down by then.
The Rake Brigade Returns!
Our Missions Committee is looking at some dates in March for the return of our rake brigade ministry to neighbors. Please make us
aware in the office about people in your neighborhood who could use our help.
Generational Ministry Video Series
Looking to increase your knowledge about how to minister to Baby Boomers, Gen-Xers, and Millennials? Pastor James has three videos on our church YouTube page about effective generational ministry. We invite you to
check them out!
Church Survey Results are In!
Thanks so much for participating in the church health survey! Pastor James will have a special presentation soon (once the latest Covid surge goes down) about the survey and some interesting information gathered from updated church records.
Missions Updates
Our Missions Committee is off and running with plans for 2022.
Here are some projects on which they are currently working. Stay tuned for updates.

BSM Lunches are being planned.

An “Adopt-a-Preschooler” Ministry is in the works.

Be watching for ways to participate in our relationship with Kocurek Elementary School.
.
Other projects include ministries to First Responders, the Westgate Rehab, and the Heritage Foundation.
GriefShare
Our GriefShare ministry meets every Monday at 6:30pm in CMB
Room 101. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. For more information, please contact group leader LaVern Livergood, or you can contact the church office.
Outreach Volunteers
Are you interested in following up with guests? If so, please
let us know by contacting the office or signing the sign-up sheet in the worship center foyer. Outreach volunteers will follow-up with guests by making phone calls, writing letters, or visiting.
