What is a Disciple?
1.A disciple is a student or follower of a teacher or master

2.A disciple desires and strives to become like their master.
Matthew 10:24-25

Making Disciples is the Mission of the Church

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20

How do we make disciples?

1.Preach the Gospel
Mark 16:15, Acts 1:8

2.Baptize those that accept.
Romans 6:3-5, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13

3. Teach them to obey all that Christ has commanded

What is a Devoted Disciple

1.A devoted disciple puts Christ first.

2.A devoted disciple is willing to sacrifice.

3.A devoted disciple seeks to grow.

How do we grow as disciples

1.Understand what growth is. Romans 8:28-29

2.Seek Him

3.Yield to Him.
James 1:22-25, Galatians 5:22-23
