Luke 4:18a ESV The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.

1. The gospel is the foundation of our freedom from bondage.

2. Our freedom from knowing the truth comes in abiding in God’s Word.

3. Practicing sin will make us a slave of sin.

4. Freedom comes from the only one who can set us free—Jesus.

Jesus went all in for us. Taking on the form of a slave, he died to make us free. Knowing the truth about all of who He is and all of who we are in Him is what sets us free from what enslaves us.
