Just a week ago, Jesus instructed the first century followers to not concern themselves with certain things, and maybe you don’t worry about food, shelter, and clothes because you have those things, but what is it that you have so much of, and feel you have to keep a stockpile because what if…….? Let’s gather to remember our FATHER owns it all, has it all, and gives to His children liberally according to their need.

ICE BREAKER: What would someone say you own a lot of (like almost an excessive or extreme amount of)? Talk about the sentimental value it holds to you.
1. In Psalms 50 God’s people thought He needed their sacrifices to win His approval, or to stay in His graces. Do you share their sentiments, or did you at one point in time in your spiritual journey?
2. Read Luke.12:13-21, Parable of the Rich Fool and count how many times he refers to himself? Do you see a problem with his thinking and planning?
3. Have each person read parts of 1Chronicles 29:10-20 and have them pray each after their respective reading parts personalizing it to themselves, their children, their family.
