Unstoppable (Wk3)
In these 4 messages, we are going to examine the remarkable spread of the gospel and the kingdom of God from Jerusalem, to Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the world. Jesus has commissioned every one of his followers to be his witness by the power of the Holy Spirit. Despite challenges from outside and within, the kingdom of God continues to advance. Today, we continue to be his witnesses and have a vital role in the continuing story of Jesus’s unstoppable kingdom.

Good morning Church. In a season where it’s easy to be overwhelmed… I want to simply say, “I’m thankful for you. I’m thankful for this church body. I’m thankful for the opportunity to speak into, reach into, dive into and touch peoples lives. I’m thankful for a Holy God who see’s it fit to operate in and through this church! I’m thankful!”
Big Idea of the Message:
As the kingdom of God moves forward , challenges from outside and within the church will occur.
Acts of the Apostles 4:1-37 NLT

Acts of the Apostles 5:1-11 NLT

Application:
We must stand strong against Satan and his attempts to keep the kingdom from moving forward.
Thought:
“The entitled mindset will never find it easy to repent. Instead it will justify its rights.” -Don Wood
I’m going to quote a note my dad sent me…its the answer to the entitled mindset...

“Stay humble, and be very grateful for his gift of grace… His gift of righteousness… His gift of Justification…His gift of reconciliation… His gift of redemption…His gift of the Holy Spirit.
His spirit is the Spirit of Truth
The great error of the flesh is this… to be rewarded for their works—for salvation on their own merits. But Ephesians 2:8...

Ephesians 2:8 NLT
8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.

This is not from yourself… it is a gift from God...
If we are going to stand firm and stand strong when the enemy attacks… then we will need be WITH Jesus, and not simply know about Jesus.
