How can we give sacrificially?
1. Don’t just give what’s easy, give what’s difficult for you.
1. Don’t just give what’s easy, give what’s difficult for you.
2. Don’t just give some, give all of you.
3. Live by faith in the God who gave us His all.

2. How can you begin to give it to God as a sacrifice?
3. Why is it challenging to give all of yourself to God?
4. What does it mean to give God your very best? Have you ever given God your worst or half way decent? and others a “lame” sacrifice? Done something without your full heart being in it? Why do we do that?
5. What has God given you that can make you a sacrificial giver?

Blessing Waikiki School
Malama Mentors
Although we are unable to meet at Waikiki School right now, we still want to reach out to the school and show them how much God loves them. As we have been conversing with the principal and staff, they have reaffirmed the need for mentors to come and help those students who need the most help.
We will be starting Malama Mentors, a mentoring program that works one on one with a student in need. A mentor would come in once a week or once every other week, during lunch or after school for about a half hour and help that student feel supported. You can play checkers, chess, connect four as you meet together. You will be a great support and blessing to someone who needs it and having been a mentor before, I am excited to do it again. Would you please pray about being a mentor? This opportunity is available for anyone high school aged and above.

Did you know that all the students eat outdoors? The school has purchased benches, which we were able to help put together a few months ago. Now the school is asking if we can help paint the benches! We are looking for a team of people to come and help paint the benches!
Interested in being a mentor or painting benches? Contact Pastor Max at info@saltandlighthawaii.org

Bible In One Year (BIOY)
The “Bible in One Year” is a free Bible reading app with commentary by Nicky and Pippa Gumbel. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. But sometimes the Word of God can be a hard to read. So we’ve chosen this app to give us a little help. Click on this link to read today’s reading or download the app to your mobile device (iTunes / Google Play).
