Being Trained In The School Of The Holy Ghost
Confronting The Tactics Of The Enemy;
God is your power source.
Exodus 15:3
(KJV) The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
(MSG) GOD is a fighter, pure GOD, through and through.
[NLT] He is a warrior.
Matt. 16:19
The gates of hell will not prevail over My CHURCH
The Bible talks about not being ignorant of the enemy’s tricks, strategies, or wiles of the devil our enemy.
The devil is a schemer; A scheme is a plan, a well thought out design, with an accompaniment of accusative succession. He accuses you to you, with a succession a number of attacks one following another to try to take your office, [your position in the kingdom].
Attacks will continue to come till un-stability is reached, and causes anarchy from within. Anarchy is a state of disorder due to lack of government control. [ The kingdom of God is a government, where God is king] The enemy charges you with one offense after another saying you have done something so wrong that you have no reason or grounds to fight him cause you are just as bad as he is. When you turn on your self he has reached his goal. This is called the Wiles; or methods he uses-- the different means, or plans, and schemes used to deceive, entrap, enslave, and ruin the souls of men. This is the method he uses for of damning and destroying of his soul, he is ruthless.]
Ephesians 6:11 (NLT)
Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. [ he lies in wait, watching for an opportunity to catch you napping, not paying attention, he is very sly]
Passion; v
11 Put on God’s complete set of armor [a] provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser![he compares methods til he finds the one that works on you]
Ephesians 6:11 (MSG)
So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way.
Ephesians 6:11 (KJV)
So You may stand against the wiles of the devil.
[The tactics of your enemy is designed to send one attack after another till you give up or fall, he goes for your weak spot, the un-armored spot]
You Cannot Win Without A Strategy
We fall into traps unknowingly, traps work because they are hidden. The enemy is a soul-hunter who uses
#1 Deception, he lies [ in fact he is the father of lies].
That is why the Word works, it gives light in the darkness so the trap is exposed and not hidden any more. When the darkness is removed you see clearly.
Step 1; Stay in the Word day and night, comparing your thoughts to the Word of God;
So what are some of the traps? By; Blinding you to truth, saying this is ridiculous, don’t get so serious...you got this. He may deceive others but not you.
Proverbs 3:7 (NLT)
Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn away from evil. [Passion] ; Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong.
Proverbs 4:19-22 (NLT)
But the way of the wicked is like total darkness.
They have no idea what they are stumbling over.
My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words.
Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart,
for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body.
#2 Plan the enemy uses; Seduction; the enemy’s plans are to overthrow you.
Prayer & staying connected to the Kingdom thwarts the enemies plans
The devil uses people. When Jesus was to be born and the enemy saw the plan of God to save His people, he used a man [Herod] to try to kill all the babies to keep the Messiah from growing up with power to save us.
He blinded Herod, and put a murderous spirit in him, driven by fear of losing his control over the people. He thought a great leader would take his position of king. He wanted to abort God’s plan.
The enemy uses people to try to talk you out of the plan of God.
As far back even before King David was born, God had men of God praying about the enemy of our souls attacks coming, all through the book of Psalms David is asking God to slay His enemies and to expose their plans of destruction. God’s response;
Deuteronomy 20:3-4 (NLT)
Do not be afraid as you go out to fight your enemies today! Do not lose heart or panic or tremble before them. For the LORD your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory!’
You don’t go alone, He will fight with you and for you. You must show up at the battle field to fight.
#3 He has established Priest to speak to the troops before you go out to battle;
Go to church hear the Word that will deliver you!
Deuteronomy 20:2-3 (MSG)
When the battle is about to begin, let the priest come forward and speak to the troops. He'll say, "Attention, Israel. In a few minutes you're going to do battle with your enemies. Don't waver in resolve. Don't fear. Don't hesitate. Don't panic.
#4 Remind your self what God has already done for you, the world calls it a gratefulness journal.
Joshua 23:3 (NLT)
You have seen everything the LORD your God has done for you during my lifetime. The LORD your God has fought for you against your enemies.
Nothing is too hard for God!!
You may say but I don’t have all these enemies, why press so hard to fight? Drugs are a weapon, it make you live in delusion.
#4 Weapon; Delusion; escape from reality. An erroneous belief that is held in the face of reality of evidence to the contrary. A mistaken opinion or idea. Look at the world around you, it is reallllllly lost, but no one sets out to be deceived do they? It is a slow progression to possession. It starts with depression, & oppression. A weight you can’t get rid of.
Your answer; Fight like the warrior King David did; see God’s enemies as your enemies. Your Goliath....Strife, complaining, not going to battle.... when depression, oppression tries to accuse your God of not caring & leaving you to just fend for your self. Striving or great efforts of the enemy who uses people to attack you, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but it sure seems like it.
Psalm 18:37-41 (NLT)
I chased my enemies and caught them; I did not stop until they were conquered.
I struck them down so they could not get up; they fell beneath my feet.
You have armed me with strength for the battle; you have subdued my enemies under my feet.
You placed my foot on their necks. I have destroyed all who hated me.
They called for help, but no one came to their rescue. They even cried to the LORD, but he refused to answer.
Psalm 18:43 (KJV)
Thou hast delivered me from the striving’s of the people;
Psalm 18:43 (MSG)
You rescued me from a squabbling people;
Squabbling people; trivial quarreling, arguing over petty things, they think they are better than you, and love to put you down. They take your peace ruin your whole day.
Bind the spirit of strife, and hatred behind the person thoughts.
Psalm 9:3 (KJV)
When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.
(NLT) My enemies retreated; they staggered and died when you appeared.
(MSG) The day my enemies turned tail and ran, they stumbled on you and fell on their faces.
Strategy; Pray for people who seem to be your enemies, pray and bind the motivating enemy behind their strife will no longer have power over them. Pray they comes to their senses and recover from the snare of the enemy, they are his patsy yet they are unaware the enemy is using them, or they have no power to recover on their own. You fight for them. Bind every anti-Christ spirit using them, loose the power of God to defeat the enemy.
USE THE SCRIPTURES TO STOP THE ENEMY, IT SENDS THE POWER OF GOD TO DO THE WORK!!!!They will perish at His presence!
Use the scripture above; Psm. 9:3 They will stagger and die because My God is all powerful they will stumble and fall because of me. I have destroyed all that hated me.
Strategy # 5 Use the Name of Jesus;
Psalm 44:5 (MSG)
With your help we'll wipe out our enemies, in your name we'll stomp them to dust.
Psalm 44:5 (KJV)
Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.
Strategy #6 Don’t give up, keep doing it, don’t be weary in well doing;
Psalm 18:39 (KJV)
For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
Instead of hiding in shame, or regret...rise up and don’t quit till you win.
Pray for strength for the battle, every morning pray to be equipped with the mind of Christ, you establish how your day will begin and how it will go.
Trust in the weapons He gave you, instead of questioning why the attacks, His enemies are your enemies that is why the attack.
Psalm 144:1 (NLT)
Praise the LORD, who is my rock. He trains my hands for war and gives my fingers skill for battle.
Hands; having dominion, or force, power, means to accomplish, given direction, my ministry is given order, custody over debt or creditors, to gain strength over.
Fingers; in the sense of fighting a battle, the engagement of warfare, battle, a fighting warrior.
Use Psalms 91 Live and abide under Him then He will be your refuge from the enemy
Speaking the scriptures out loud is a weapon like going to court telling the criminal what the law say, and the consequences of breaking that law, then the Kingdom of God enforces the law the enemy must abide by. It stops the enemies scheme in it’s tracks, some may rebel but you just keep enforcing the law of God.
Strategy #7 Remember God fights for you, you are not alone; He will guide you in what to say, say out loud ‘He is my protection, I have no fear! Remember fear will open the door to even your family being destroyed like Job.
Psalm 18:39 (KJV)
For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
Strategy #8 You are strong in the power of His might, you can’t take them on alone without Him.
This next scripture is taught all wrong most of the time. We are the strong man, but if that person is not totally clean before God, half in and half out the enemy can take every thing from him.
Matthew 12:29 (NLT)
For who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man?
[ like Satan ] and plunder his goods [this man’s goods, his personal possessions, & his body, his mind]? Only someone even stronger—someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house.
Plunder; take illegally or take wrongfully, destroy and strip of his possessions, to have stolen property.
[Italics & brackets are added by author for emphasis]
Matt 12:29 Passion
“Who would dare enter the house of a mighty man and steal his property? First he must be overpowered and tied up by one who is stronger than he. Then his entire house can be plundered.”
Who is the thief? Satan is the thief, he comes to kill steal & destroy.
Strategy #9 Don’t be afraid; walk in your covenant
Exodus 14:13 NIV;
Don’t be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today
13b (KJV) Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians [enemies] whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
Strategy #10; Some are stubborn! Some require fasting & prayer before you start. You don’t win the war with just one bullet, keep at it. Proof that unbelief is working against you...you’ve been at it a while with no visible results now you want to give up, quit or you start to question is this really a demon or not?... this is how some are able to continue their wicked rule in that person. It is unbelief to say deliverance is not working.
Matt. 17:18-21
Then Jesus rebuked the demon and it came out of him and the boy was instantly healed!
Later the disciples came to him privately and asked, “Why couldn’t we cast out the demon?”
He told them, “It was because of your lack of faith. I promise you, if you have faith inside of you no bigger than the size of a small mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move away from here and go over there,’ and you will see it move! There is nothing you couldn’t do! But this kind is cast out only through prayer and fasting.”
17:20 Or “Nothing will be beyond your power.” The Aramaic can be translated “Nothing is higher or stronger than you.”
Deliverance Is Possible By Using God’s Word;
He cast out the spirits with His word, and healed all that were sick:
Matthew 16:19
I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Bind; Tie up a demon (deomai in the Greek), [verb to take action on]. Dei; Greek; ought to be or should be tied up. Strong's Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary.
Loose; “loosen” or break up, & destroy, dissolve, (un-) loose, melt, to “break”, “wreck” or “crack”, separation of the parts, (thrauo) a shattering to minute fragments; but not a reduction disrupt, lacerate; to convulse (with spasms); to give vent to joyful emotions :- break (forth), burst, rend, tear. Strong's Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary
If you put that all together it is to tie up a demon, lacerate [cut with jagged edges as you it tears loose] shatter it into minute fragments, which may cause convulsions, but will give vent to joyful emotions. That person will have great joy when they are set free from the power of the enemy!!
1. Speaking the Word over people can have the power to cast out demons, & heal the sick
Matt 8: 16
That evening the people brought to him many who were demonized. And by Jesus only speaking a word of healing over them, they were totally set free from their torment, and everyone who was sick received their healing!
2. Mass demons can be cast out all at once; but have no fear they know the power of God you carry, the Lord knows who are His, but the devils know who is equipped with power from on high too. They may scream as a scare tactic, or try to act violent they want to be left alone, this is when you must be bold in the face of the enemy. They are set against the Kingdom coming, you must establish who is in charge. They are picky with their names, legalist if you don’t know their exact name they hide or refuse to budge. Just use devil, demon, unclean spirit or anti-christ spirit, [against Christ spirits] the Bible calls them in Matthew 8:28 devils [notice it is plural, more than one]
Matt. 8:28
When they arrived on the other side of the lake, in the region of the Gadarenes, two demonized men confronted Jesus. They lived among the tombs of a cemetery and were considered so extremely violent that no one felt safe passing through that area. The demons screamed at Jesus, shouting, “Son of God, what do you want with us? Leave us alone! Have you come to torment us before the appointed time?”
3. Get rid of Doubt; don’t move till you are ready & equipped, & it is best to go with another person;
Mark 11: 23
Listen to the truth I speak to you: Whoever says to this mountain with great faith and does not doubt, [a] ‘Mountain, [hindrance be removed] be lifted up and thrown into the midst of the sea,’[b] and believes that what he says will happen, it will be done.
11:23 The Aramaic word for doubt means “to be divided (undecided) in your heart.”
What equips you to do this? Love, you must love someone to fight for them.
4. Pray with them for salvation, ask that the Holy Spirit come to live in them;
Romans 10:10
The heart that believes in him receives the gift of the righteousness of God—and then the mouth confesses, resulting in salvation.
Believers are redeemed [purchased by God]& atoned for, & the curse is removed; if they are willing to pray that means they have faith, faith moves the mountain.
Atone; sins covered, to be at one with God, sins are covered & paid for.
Gal 3:13,14b,29 Yet,
Christ paid the full price to set us free from the curse. He absorbed the curse completely as he became a curse in our place. For it is written:“Everyone who is hung upon a tree is cursed.” Passion; Jesus Christ dissolved the curse from our lives, And now through faith we receive the promised Holy Spirit who lives in us.
5. Don’t quit till they are all gone;
Psalm 18:37-38 (NLT)
I chased my enemies and caught them; I did not stop until they were conquered.
I struck them down so they could not get up; they fell beneath my feet.
6. Don’t get discouraged, demons always fight so pray till you feel strength come for the battle; a long battle can make you quit, it wears out the saints, you must endure to the end, [you would want that if it was you that was bound]. Some things are deeply rooted, & difficult to remove, it may have been a problem in your family for generations. Fast, pray and wait & watch...sometimes you have to let time pass by sitting under the Word. Wrong mind-sets will change by faithfulness to church. He sent His Word out & it healed them.
2 Samuel 3:1 (NLT)
That was the beginning of a long war between those who were loyal to Saul and those loyal to David. As time passed David became stronger and stronger, while Saul’s dynasty became weaker and weaker.
7. Addictions; are also rooted in the flesh, the longer they have been in it the longer it takes to get the behavior to stop. Alcohol, homosexuality, lust... are a strong hold [ a place the devil has set up camp for a long time]. It takes discipline of their mind along with deliverance. You need to get in some classes, AA, Na, or be with those who have been victorious over the same battle. Don’t condemn them, they will go back to the world fast!! They have to learn a whole new way of thinking.
Poverty, lack, debt, anger, bitterness all have roots that take a while to root out.
8. Be humble enough to admit you don’t know every thing

Romans 8:1-3 (MSG)
With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ's being-here-for-us no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud.
A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.
God went for the jugular when he sent his own Son. He didn't deal with the problem as something remote and unimportant. In his Son, Jesus, he personally took on the human condition, entered the disordered mess of struggling humanity in order to set it right once and for all. The law code, weakened as it always was by fractured human nature, could never have done that. The law always ended up being used as a Band-Aid on sin instead of a deep healing of it.
1 Cor. 10:13
We all experience times of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously.
1 Corinthians 10:13 (MSG)
No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he'll never let you be pushed past your limit; he'll always be there to help you come through it.
Heb 10:17
And then he says, “I will not ever again remember their sins and lawless deeds!”
