Jesus Is Good for Us: Colossians 2:9-15

1. Jesus is good because all the fullness of deity dwells in Him.
Colossians 2:9 ESV
Col. 2:9 - For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily
Col. 1:19 - For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell
2. It is good for us that we are filled to fullness in Jesus.
Colossians 2:10 ESV
“and in Christ you have been brought to fullness.”(Col. 2:10a, NIV)
3. It is good for us that we are circumcised in Jesus.
Colossians 2:11 ESV
4. It is good for us that we are buried, raised, and made alive with Jesus.

5. It is good for us that our sins are forgiven and our sin debt is cancelled through Jesus.
Colossians 2:13c-14 (ESV) having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14 by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.
6. It is good for us that God has triumphed over all authorities in Jesus.
Colossians 2:15 ESV
You may feel defeated, hopeless, and beaten down. Lift your head O believer in Jesus Christ. Know this and don’t ever forget it. Our God has triumphed over every enemy, and we will forever reign with Him!
