The premise of the series is that in our everyday living it should be evident to everyone around us that we are intentionally seeking to live like Jesus.

Living as everyday disciples means that we seek to organize our everyday lives around our mission statement and core values.

JOURNEY MISSION STATEMENT:

We exist "To Know Jesus, Obey Jesus and Train Others To Do The Same."

JOURNEY CORE VALUES:

Regular and intentional engagement with God's Spirit, God's Word, and God's People.

BIG IDEA:
Everyday Disciples reveal a tangible kingdom through mission focused intentions.

Knowing and obeying Jesus leads us to living everyday lives that are an incarnation of the gospel mission.

We make Jesus' final words our first work through the course of our lives.

There is a difference between being well intentioned and living intentionally.

In the book "The Tangible Kingdom", authors Hugh Halter and Matt Smay wrote:
"A kingdom life lived on mission is really about living ordinary, everyday life in community with great gospel intentionality."
