Dear Church of the Week Participant:
My humble apologies for not having a church available this week. It was poor planning on my part. However, this should not keep us from praying for the Church today. I would encourage you to prayerfully intercede on behalf of your personal church or perhaps even the church down the road from you.
I believe we can all agree that with what we are seeing in our society, in our city there is much that wants to influence our churches and God's people. Pray for God's protection over our pastors who sometimes traverse on rocky soil to bring about God's Word to their parishioners. Pray for God's grace over his people; and for protection from the fear and angst which is trying to effect daily lives. May we truly be the salt and the light Jesus wants us to be.
Thank you for your participation in praying for and encouraging the Body of Christ in Tucson!
