The Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ

The Great falling away
All of us know someone who was following Christ, but no longer is.

The man of sin
Satan: devil, wicked one, dragon, the enemy. The man of sin has other alias’s: Son of perdition, Man of lawlessness, the Anti-Christ, and in Rev 13, the first beast.
Vs 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped so that he sits as God, in the temple of God showing himself that He is God.
The Man of perdition is going to ESTABLISH himself as God, but he is not God.

Pre-Tribulation
Jesus will return and we will meet the Lord in the air BEFORE the Tribulation.
Vs 3: That Day will not come until the man of sin is revealed.

What is restraining (vs 6-8)
The CHURCH is what is restraining the coming of the Anti-Christ.
But when “he is taken out of the way” the lawless one will be revealed.

The Coming of the lawless one

Would not receive the Love of the Truth
Those who will not receive the Love of the Truth of Jesus Christ will be lost.
They will not be raptured, but you will be a prime candidate for the Anti-Christ.

Pleasure in unrighteousness
Then there will be those WHO WE THINK are Christians, but they have secret sins.
If you have PLEASURE in your sin, you will be lost.

The Mark of the Beast
