• One of the most life changing things we can ever do is just this: Learn to Love Work
• God’s first command: The Call to Cultivate
• The truth about work…Work is our contribution to the lives of others.
• Good work flourishes us and the world
• Not working hurts us and the world
• A few thoughts for the workers out there…
- We will always be tempted to resent work until we see it as worthy in itself.
- It’s ok to pick a job that doesn’t make much money.
- Work to be generous, not to be rich.
- Never be so generous that you remove from somebody the gift of work.
- Reconsider retirement.
- Pick a time each day to say “No” to work.
- It’s never too late to ask, “What do I want to be when I grow up.”
