1. Consecration is romantic, not religious.
Consecration: the dedication of something or someone to the service and worship of God, for God

2. Consecration demands boundaries.

This is how boundaries work:
God sets them.
You establish them.
You both enforce them.
Believers are not at their best or safest when they’re setting their own boundaries.
Believers are at their best when God sets their boundaries, and they live within them.
The set-apart life cannot be lived by those who set their own rules.
3. Consecration is a priestly mandate.
A priest had to be consecrated, otherwise they couldn’t be a priest.

What is a priest? A priest is one set apart to minister to God and represent God to the people.
