Do not be anxious about anything,
Anxious – merimnáō
• Don’t be distracted.
• Don’t ruminate.
• Don’t be divided or separated

You can’t stop feelings, but you are in control of what you do with them. The key is to not let yourself be divided within your heart or mind or divided from relationship with God and others.

…but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

• Make your thoughts and feeling known to God.
• Do it with a heart of thanksgiving (eucharistia).

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

God gives you His Peace – eirēnē – Shalom
• Completeness
• Wholeness
• Prosperity

• I have the power and privilege to go to God when I feel anxious.
• I have the power to choose what my mind dwells on.
• I also have the privilege of getting guidance from others who are also seeking God’s peace.

Lovely – Is from a point of love?
Admirable – Is is reputable?
Excellent – Is it vitreous or upright in character?
Praiseworthy – Is it worthy of praise or commendable?
