Welcome to Capital! We're glad you joined us. Enjoy the service. We are going through the gospels and taking a look at Jesus' life. We want to become more like Jesus. We want to draw from His source and His wisdom. Through Christ’s ministry, his radical teachings caused even his followers to ask, ‘Who is this man?’ This series examines these teachings and points out all the ways he challenged the norms of his time to bring new ideas about justice, equality, and compassion for those who were often disregarded. Let's glean together from the scriptures. His Word applies to where we are at today. Prayer Gathering
Prayer is the key to our future. This will become our weekly focus every Wednesday evening at 7pm. We are meeting both in person and online. Our church has a rich prayer history. We were birthed in a prayer meeting in the home of Sacramento attorney William Hatfield. His wife and her friends gathered for prayer in their living room. The prayer meeting grew and a church was born. 105 years later, we can look back on miracles that have brought us this far. It will be prayer and miracles that will take us on from here.It is time for a fresh prayer movement. It is prayer that changes things.

Sunday, July 4 | Submerged
Pre-Register for Baptism
We are grateful for the freedoms we have living in this country. True joy and freedom comes through Jesus Christ and we get to celebrate that on Sunday, July 4. Baptisms will be taking place in the front fountain as part of the Submerged event on this day. You can pre-register to get baptized here, or just show up and make the decision in the moment. We will be providing shirts, shorts, towels, and all the necessities to make this day extra special. Food trucks will be on campus, you can stay and celebrate with us on the front lawn after the 9 & 11am services next week.

Whether you are new to Capital or would like more information about who we are, join our staff to discuss and interact with the history, mission, core values and beliefs of our church. We are offering this four-week class at 9am in the Guest Lounge. In the first week, you get to connect to the church as we celebrate our history (Capital is over 100 years old!) and renew our passion to fulfill a God-given vision for the future. You also get to discover your design (week two), develop your leadership (week three), and join the team (week four). Capital is strategic in helping you get connected. This is a great environment to meet people and learn how to make Capital your home.
