PROLOGUE

According to the Book of Revelations, what we are living on Earth, which we call “life”, is merely the Earth experiencing, both individually and collectively, the Plan of Salvation (PoS) of God. God’s greatest creation is humanity. So the PoS is not only for Believers, but also for non-Believers. Each human has the chance to accept or reject the purpose of the plan – to return to God from whence we all came, after we have experienced “life” on Earth. The Book of Revelations informs us that Satan’s number one tactic is to “deceive” humanity so that each human rejects God’s existence and/or God’s Plan. So we can conclude that the “absolute” number one priority of ALL humanity is to choose “Good” in the very presence of “Evil”, in a place where God has set the limits of Evil’s authority and power over humanity. Regardless who we may be, this is true for each and every human being.

Therefore, “The Anatomy of Satan’s Deception – The Biblical Path to Finding Joy”, is a sermon series featuring a “from the top-down” (detail à conclusion) approach to be deliberate and successful in obtaining the prize of Joy in THIS world for eternity! The title and subtitle may seem backwards, but our opinion is that we can want to be happy NOW, but unless we understand the PoS and understand what is required, finding our desired outcome, in this life existence or the world to come, is like trying to hit a bullseye blindfolded and spun around and the host of the “party” is Satan!

Since our purpose is to use Scripture to convince you of EACH underlying premise, and then convince you that what we are sharing IS God’s plan, not ours, we will dissect EACH and EVERY foundational principle and show you what God’s messengers have been sharing with us since the “beginning of Time” on Earth. First some concepts so that EACH and EVERY one is on the same page.

CONCEPT
The Holy Bible is our Source of Truth

•In order to have a meaningful debate, those discussing must agree on the “rules” (what constitutes TRUTH)
•This is at the very basis of understanding between humanity.
•This means that when two or more humans interact (on the Earth), when they share an experience, they can immediately discuss this experience in words CONCEPTS that each would immediately understand (as agreement or as disagreement).
•This has NOTHING to do with WORDS that describe human experience. This is ourely on a conceptual basis.
•This means that concepts are shared and experienced and the humans can discuss how the concept AFFECTS each so that they share an experience

•“5 Now the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the (Lit, sons of mankind)men had built. 6 And the Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they all have (Lit, one lip) the same language. And this is what they have started to do, and now nothing which they plan to do will be (Lit, inaccessible to) impossible for them. 7 Come, (i.e., indicating united action, not a request) let Us go down and there confuse their (Lit, lip) language, so that they will not understand one another’s (Lit, lip)speech.”

•“8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth; and they stopped building the city {of Babel}. 9 Therefore it was named (or, Babylon; cf. Heb balal, confuse) Babel, because there the Lord confused the (Lit, lip) language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth. {Gen 11:1, 5-9}
•So what we have proven anecdotally has now been proven axiomatic or TRUTH by the Christian Bible for those of us who have FAITH in the Bible as the inerrant, indefatigable word of God, which is sufficient for those experiencing the PoS.This will be a SUBSET of ALL humanity.

Happiness is NOT Joy

•This concept of happiness or being happy may seem confusing because in English we often lump concepts together under the same word for efficiency regarding related concepts, causing the word to lose its “flavors” or conceptual meanings. Now let us look at the concept of “joy” in the Bible to see how God separates gladness from an external center of fortune or favor (happy) from the internal feeling of wellness (joy) due to faith-initiated action, returning God’s joy back to Him via the concept of “rejoicing” (returning joy). This difference focuses on an established relationship of faith.
•
•It is our contention that this hindrance of language and misusing scripture references is the clear hindrance that Satan uses to confuse to deceive. This is supported by the references from Genesis 11 and the Tower of Babel and why God commanded that the language be confounded. It is NOT that God enters confusion in the world, but He knew that allowing this would give Satan a tool to “test” humanity, which is why the solution of the PoS is made in the first place.

CONCEPTS


In order to “share a reality”, let us talk about 2 foundational concepts of humanity – Happiness and Joy.
Happiness is NOT Joy

•Happiness – is the state of being happy {Oxford Language Dictionary}
•Happy {Oxford Language Dictionary}

1.feeling or showing pleasure or contentment.
2.fortunate and convenient.
3.Etymology of happy
•“hap” = “luck” (Middle English) + “-y” (Middle English) à “happy” = “lucky”
•Therefore, happy has its root meaning in the Middle English concept for lucky (fortunate)

•Joy (noun) {Oxford Language Dictionary}

1.a feeling of great pleasure and happiness.
2.a thing that causes joy.
3.Etymology of joy
•“guadere” = “rejoice” (Latin root) à “Gaudium” (Latin form) à “joie” (Old French) à “joy” (Middle English)
Therefore, Joy has its root in the Latin concept of rejoice

•44x-joy, 31x-gladness, 8x-mirth, 3x-rejoice, 2x-rejoicing, 6x-misc
•Notice that the Hebrew concept originated in God and the Greek concept denotes that same joy from within oneself!
•Notice from the English origin of joy that it is rooted in rejoice from within onseself, returning it to God where it originated!

•Happy (19x in 18 verses) vs Joy (208x in 194 verses)

•From a purely “a-spiritual” perspective, Joy is considered more than 10 times as often as Happiness
•Yet we know from anecdotal experience that humanity talks incessantly about Happiness, rather than Joy, and this is why we claim that THIS concept is among the top concepts that sets us up for Satan’s Deception
•Too many to cover in a sermon, but the concept is crystal clear in these verses!

•Luke 2:10-11 (NASB) “10 And so the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; 11for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is (i.e., the Messiah) Christ the Lord. “
•Heavenly Joy for the Repentant (Lost Coin Parable)
•Luk 15:7,10 (NASB) “7I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance. “ ….. “10In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” “

•Jud 1:24-25 (NASB) “24 Now to Him who is able to protect you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory, blameless with great joy, 25 to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority before all time and now and (Lit to all the ages) forever. Amen. “

Happiness is NOT Joy

Therefore, the first erroneous thought that we MUST lose is that in our lives we must search for Happiness. We MUST NOT search for Happiness, but we MUST seek JOY! Happiness is a subtle counterfeit of Joy and the writers, prophets, and scribes knew this FACT, as we have just seen!

Now that we see this TRUTH, we MUST REVIEW the TRUE PURPOSE of the Earth, according to the Bible. To do this, we must take a systematic approach so that our argument will convince our souls and leave NO doubt.

FOUNDATIONAL SUMMARY
1. God is the Eternal Creator
2. God exists in 3 persons, 1 Common Divine Nature (CDN) – The Trinity - God the Father (Creator/Mastermind), God the Son, Yeshua Hamashiach (Hebrew) (Jesus [of Nazareth] The Christ) (Manager/Administrator/High Priest/King), God the Spirit (Discerning Presence)
3. Truth is Eternal and therefore NEVER changes.
4. God is Omni-benevolent - ALL GOOD
5. God is Omniscient - ALL KNOWING
6. God is Omnipotent - ALL POWERFUL
7. The Bible is therefore the WORD of God and it is never wrong and it never fails. So, the Bible is the standard for the Christian. If we have no standard comparison is pointless and impossible.
8. The Law of Opposites demands that Good is defined as the opposite of Evil. Where 1 is the other MUST exist by definition
9. The Law Opposites therefore introduces the Law of Free Agency
10.The Law of Free Agency demands a choice so the Law of Justice must also be present.
11. Satan (and his demons) has no material being so he must possess the material to be seen as material.
12. Mercy (not getting what you deserve) is eternal since God is good, but God is just, so mercy cannot rob justice!
13. God had to find another way to develop (teach) His creation after innocence was compromised and redeem them back to Himself, without changing His WORD! - The Plan of Salvation
14. God the Son, Yeshua Hamashiach (Hebrew) (Jesus [of Nazareth] The Christ) is our example and Advocate to the Father via the Holy Spirit.

THE MOVING MIRACLE SUMMARY
1. A Prophet or Seer is a person regarded as an inspired teacher or proclaimer of the will of God.
2. God often obscured Truths from His creation (mystery) to protect them from "knowing the Truth" in our humanity (fallen state).
3. The Law of Moses can be summarized as "righteousness by self".
4. The Levitical law over 600 commandments classified humanity into three states - unclean, clean, and holy.
5. Under the Law, only "unintentional" sin was forgivable! Intentional sin (sin done after "knowing" God's TRUTH (Light), was unforgivable.
6. Therefore, mystery was necessary to protect humanity from becoming irredeemable!
7. Prophecies were obscured in mystery to put Truth in the open where only those "enlightened" could grasp its concepts!
8. Hope is a wish that can lead to the feeling of belief that when nurtured leads to the confirmation of trust and a choice, which produces the motive force of Faith!
9. Faith is further increased by exercising and testing it.
10. Seeing isn't believing....Believing IS seeing!
11. Signs and wonders are indicators that appeal to our human senses and bring us in remembrance of some spiritual Truth.
12. Signs and wonders are mysteries to the carnal (human) senses. They display Truth to the believer without revealing themselves to the unbeliever.
13. God shows His faith and trust in signs and wonders.
14. When we, as humans, seek a sign as proof of Truth, we show our lack of faith and trust.
15. A miracle is a sign of spiritual authority that overwhelms the natural or carnal senses, but it is commonplace to the spiritual senses.
16. No matter what church, denomination, or group to which the Christian is attached, communion is the Fire of the Spirit that brings us ALL into one faith, one Lord, one baptism and becomes the basis of sanctification of the Church of Jesus the Christ.
17. Communion should therefore be performed as often as possible, daily is our suggestion.
18. Satan wants us to be complacent about communion because He knows how powerful it is to keep faith focused to the point of intimacy.
19. Humans are the Lord's prize possession being made in Their image both in form and in attributes and character, So all humanity is worthy of honor and respect and were made to be rulers over all God's creation.
20. Love is the main attribute of God that brings all other attributes in perfect unity.
21. Communion is much more than just remembering the salvific (saving) sacrifice of Jesus of Nazareth. It is also the Plan by which the Father draws his converts into an intimate relationship with His Son.
22. We as humans are God's Moving Miracle because faith is a motive force and we use faith to overwhelm the carnal senses in order to bring others in remembrance of the spiritual Truth that Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ is Lord.

SIX REASONS FOR CONSTANT COMMUNION

1. It was a plain command from Jesus the Christ to have communion

2. The benefits to those doing daily communion is so great that it is a disadvantage not to have communion daily

3. “The grace of God gives and confirms the pardon of our sins, enabling us to leave them” (Be Bold. Believe. The Miracle of CommunionFire, p 170)

4. Communicating with God using communion shows our desire to seek Him

5. This sacrament is the continual remembrance of the death of Christ through celebrating with the outward signs of the inward grace

6. Prompts us to take time to prepare ourselves for this solemn ordinance by self-examination and prayer (integral parts of sanctification)
