hey
Welcome back to our NEW SERIES entitled "Promises".

Let’s remind ourselves the truth about God’s promises!
GOD’S PROMISES ARE MY PROMISES

So, We are in the beginning of the story of redemption.
“The theology of the flood is the pivot of a connected but multifaceted universal theme running through Genesis 1–11 and the whole rest of Scripture: creation, and the character of the Creator, in his original purpose for creation(Joy in creating, He saw what was created as good, he blessed his creation); uncreation, in humankind’s turning from the Creator, the universal spread of sin, ending in universal eschatological (end times) judgment (The fruit of the tree incident, the wickedness of humanity, the sorrow for those created); and re-creation, in the eschatological salvation of the faithful remnant and the universal renewal of the earth” (This is the fulfillment of Christ foretold symbolically even in the flood.)
(Davidson, “Noahic Covenant”).

God gives common grace and love to all of humanity. God cares, not just about certain people, but has a desire to show love to all people.
And we see that in our word today, so let’s jump into the word
Big Idea: After the flood, God made a covenant with Noah and humanity that was symbolized in the rainbow.
