The battle for your eternal soul has been won through the finished work of Jesus Christ, if you are born again you win. However, the battle for your life happens every day, we are at war!
Your daily life not only determines your eternal reward, but it also determines the fruit of your field. The fruit of your field is your influence and impact on other people.
We have to station ourselves for victory. We must remember what we are fighting for and that we have to defeat our enemy.
The key to spiritual warfare is “Know Your Enemy, Know Yourself, & Know Your God.”
Our greatest strength is our submission, not our resistance. If we fight in the flesh, we will lose. Jesus modeled warfare through submission. He said, “I only do and say what I see/hear from my Father.”
Your emotions are indicators, not dictators. The moment your emotions cross the line, you are in a spiritual battle. Emotional outbursts are demonic and are intended to push you over the edge. Spiritual victory begins with self-control. You can bottle up, blow up, or crucify unruly emotions through submission.
Spiritual warfare usually begins externally but is intended to defeat you internally. Satan attacks you financially, relationally, and physically because he wants to steal the fruit of your field by causing you to lose your spiritual integrity.
