Psalm 51: My Sins and God’s Mercy

Psalms often start as personal prayers. Psalm 51 is king David’s personal prayer of repentance after having taken Bathsheba and killing her husband. We are going to look at this prayer of David’s to see what we can learn about our own hearts and God’s character.
Title: My Sin and God's Mercy - Psalm 51

Knowledge of self without the knowledge of God leads to despair, so knowledge of God without the knowledge of self leads to presumption. – Martin Luther

Your sin is taken away from you in the death of Jesus, in the resurrection of Jesus you are given new life.

There is no sinner that is beyond the forgiving and transforming grace of God.
