A Kingdom Divided: You Are the U R in Church!
A. A kingdom divided…
1. A kingdom divided can never be effective in reaching people for Christ.
2. A kingdom divided can never grow, spiritually or numerically.
3. A kingdom divided can never be pleasing to God.
B. A kingdom divided...
1. A kingdom divided happens because of power and control.
2. A kingdom divided happens because of jealousy and comparison.
3. A kingdom divided happens because of quarreling and unhealthy conversations.
4. A kingdom divided happens because of sensitivity to one’s self and seeking credit.
5. A kingdom divided happens because of spiritual immaturity.
C. A united kingdom...
1. A kingdom united is a testimony to the world.
2. A kingdom united is a testimony to the world of God’s power.
3. A kingdom united is a testimony to the world of God’s love.
D. Who is the U R in church?
1. Each of us is responsible to find our place of service and do our part in using our gifts.
2. Each of us is called to minister to the body and serve one another.
3. How many times have you heard the statement…“The church never: called me on the phone …never paid me a visit…fixed me a meal…helped us when we were down…reached out to us…called when we were absent…cared when we needed it” …well, guess what??…U R the CHURCH!!
E. To be the church to one another, we need to follow the “one anothers” in Scripture…
1. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.
2. Live in harmony with one another.
3. Stop passing judgment on one another.
4. Accept one another.
5. Agree with one another.
6. Serve one another.
7. Be kind and compassionate to one another.
8. Submit to one another.
