EQUALITY ACT • Please see below to learn more about the Equality Act, a deeply troubling bit of legislature being considered by the Senate. Because it will have a profoundly adverse effect on women and religious freedom, we ask that you take a few minutes to encourage your senator (link included) to vote NO. It is one way we can be the salt and light Jesus called us to be in the earth. Please pray for godly wisdom to prevail.

SUNDAY SCHOOL • CCE has kicked off our new COVID Safe Sunday School program! There are classes to meet all of your children’s needs: 0 to 3 year olds in the Nursery; 4 to 5 Years, Kindergarten through 2nd Grade, and 3rd through 5th Grades. Sunday classes begin at 10am in Room 204. AWANA CLUBS • Beginning NOW, all children Pre-K through 6th Grade are invited to join us on Wednesdays at 7pm for a taste of Awana. MISSIONS SPOTLIGHT | SOFIA, BULGARIA • This month’s featured missionary is Mark Stalder. Since 2005, Mark traveled to Bulgaria during the summer and winter seasons before he became a full time missionary in July, 2016, investing in the lives of young children at an orphanage in Roman, Bulgaria.

Over the years, Mark has learned the native language and has nurtured many new friendships and ministry contacts. Mark spends each day serving the homeless from a food wagon, and he facilitates short term mission teams from the United States, always serving and connecting with people who need to hear the Gospel.

JUBILEE REACH GROCERY PROGRAM • Calvary Chapel Eastside is seeking helpers to assist with Food Distribution for the Jubilee Reach Grocery Program.

We are looking for volunteers who can donate funds for grocery items, or bring bags of non-perishable groceries to Jubilee Reach on assigned Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Each bag is paired with boxes of perishable food provided by Jubilee Reach and given to a family in need.

Currently serving 500 families every week, the Jubilee Reach Grocery Program is a wonderful way to serve alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ to help our communities.

Please consider one of three ways you can now safely enjoy your worship experience at Calvary Chapel Eastside:

At Home ~ If you have an elevated temperature or compromised immune system, please join us online from the comfort of your home.

Drive-In ~ If healthy, but not quite ready to integrate, please consider backing into one of our parking spaces on the north side (facing main entry) of the building. A WiFi transmitter has been positioned outside so the north parking lots have a strong livestream signal on both Facebook and YouTube.

You can also tune in to 97.5 FM to pick up our radio signal. At the close of our worship service, ministers will deliver prepackaged communion elements to your car so we can all remember what Christ has done as one unified body.

Come-In ~ Finally, if you’re ready to assemble, please don your mask and join us. If you need a mask, complementary cloth and disposable masks are available in the lobby.

Due to current stipulations, we ask that you wear your mask at all times when you are inside the building.

If you are unable to wear a mask, we have reserved Room 201 (upstairs/west side - nearest 164th), or if you are able to wear a mask but prefer more distancing, we have reserved the Chapel in Room 206 (upstairs/east side). Both locations have live feeds and windows that open to safety locks.

Parents with children may sign in through KidCheck stations on the first floor, near the Lobby Information Booth. Parents are encouraged to set up accounts through the KidCheck app or website (go.kidcheck.com/signin.aspx?action=register), at home on any computer or smart device. On Sunday morning, you will then be able to sign in your children from your home or car. When you enter the church, select the print option on your mobile device, and then pick up your stickers at the Lobby Information Booth before taking your children to our COVID Safe environment in Room 204. Children must wear their badges for the entire time they are in the children's wing, and parents MUST have a guardian receipt to enter the children's wing and pick up their child(ren). We take the safety of our kids very seriously and hope our procedures will give parents a strong sense of security.

Hands-free water faucets and soap dispensers are available in all our restrooms. In addition, we have hands-free sanitizer stations set up throughout the main concourse. Since our water fountains are closed for the time being, cups are provided at the hands-free water bottle filling station in the café. Once you have slaked your thirst, please drop the used cup into the recycle bin.

Seating Options

Inside the sanctuary, rows have been spaced to support social distancing requirements. Households may sit together, but all others need to be an aisle or three seats apart. It is important you sit at the end of an aisle to help create the three-seat separation.

In addition to the sanctuary, we have the Fragrance Free Zone in the back of the room with its own ventilation system, climate control, and restroom.

As mentioned, rooms 201 and 206 (Chapel) are great options for those desiring more separation, with windows that open up to safety locks. Both of these satellites have live feeds so you can follow what is going on in the sanctuary. Please remember to pick up a communion packet in the lobby before heading to either location.
