Explore the Bible – April 18, 2021
Spring – Session 7

God offers salvation through faith in Jesus alone.
LUKE 20:9-19

Many of us have ignored a warning issued or a directive given and faced the consequences. Ignoring God’s warnings and His Son have far greater consequences. The central message of the Bible is that God offers salvation through faith in Jesus alone. Ignoring the gospel puts us in danger of facing judgment, but forgiveness is available for all who turn to Jesus.

Think about a time you ignored the wisdom of someone who was trying to help you. What factors contributed to your ignoring them?

VBS 2021 – Mystery Island: Tracking Down the One True God
Is there just one God? . . . Who is God? . . . What is God like? . . . Does God love me? . . . Can I know God? Our kids grapple with questions like these every day. At Mystery Island, we’ll uncover the truth about our Creator God! There’s a sea of confusion about who God is and what he’s like, so we’ll track down the one true God and learn how amazing he is through the pages of Scripture. Mystery Island VBS is packed with teaching that connects the Bible to the real world and gives kids a better understanding of our awe-inspiring Creator and the salvation he offers through Jesus Christ. Each day, kids will learn more about one of God’s amazing attributes (great, almighty, ruler, Emmanuel, trustworthy) and how that applies to their lives. Grab your sunscreen and get ready for a taste of paradise as you track down the one true God at Mystery Island!

Our emotional responses are vitally important to our relationship with God and with others. They are a great opportunity for us to grow in Christlikeness and love. Emotions have the power to enrich relationships or drive wedges into them. Emotions are an essential way in which we bear God’s image.

Rotating Worship Schedule for Adult Bible Study Classes

We are asking each of our Adult Bible Study Classes to rotate to one of our designated remote worship areas (either the Gym or the LOFT) once per month during Worship Service times. This only affects the Worship Service times (8:30 and 11:00 a.m.) and does not affect your Sunday school class time or location. This rotation schedule allows for adequate social distancing during Worship Service times. Thank you for your support and cooperation.

Health and Safety Policy

Our goal is to provide a safe, fully staffed environment in which to teach our children the truth of God’s Word. Our core policies, upon which we will be operating, are posted on our website. Thank you for your patience, service, and love for one another during these unique days.
