"Champion" by Bethel Worship (Lyrics)I've tried so hard to see it. Took me so long to believe it. That You'd choose someone like me to carry Your victory. Perfection could never earn it. You give what we don't deserve and You take the broken things And raise them to glory. You are my champion. Giants fall when You stand Undefeated. Every battle You've won. I am who You say I am. You crown me with confidence. I am seated In the Heavenly place Undefeated With the One who has conquered it all. Now I can finally see it. You're teaching me how to receive it. So let all the striving cease, oh This is my victory. You are my champion. Giants fall when You stand Undefeated. Every battle You've won. When I lift my voice and shout Every wall comes crashing down. I have the authority Jesus has given me. When I open up my mouth Miracles start breaking out. I have the authority Jesus has given me. I am who You say I am. You crown me with confidence. I am seated In the Heavenly place Undefeated With the One who has conquered it all....It all, it all, it all, it all. When I lift my voice and shout Every wall comes crashing down. I have the authority Jesus has given me. When I open up my mouth Miracles start breaking out. I have the authority Jesus has given me. When I lift my voice and shout Every wall comes crashing down. I have the authority (yes, I do) Jesus has given me. When I open up my mouth Miracles start breaking out. I have the authority Jesus has given me. You are my champion. Giants fall when You stand Undefeated. Every battle You've won. I am who You say I am. You crown me with confidence. I am seated In the Heavenly place Undefeated By the power of Your name. I am seated in the Heavenly place Undefeated With the One who has conquered it all. I know who I am, because I know whose I am, Hallelujah There's nothing left to prove. There's nothing left to prove. He freely gave it to us. Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice. Freely He gave. When I-, come on sing, When I lift up my voice and shout (come on) Every wall comes crashing down. I have the authority (Jesus has) Jesus has given me. When I open up my mouth Miracles start breaking out (it starts to break out). I have the authority Jesus has given me (when I lift) When I lift my voice and shout (come on) Every wall comes crashing down. I have the authority Jesus has given me (now declare it, when I) When I open up my mouth Miracles start breaking out. I have the authority Jesus has given me. You are my champion (Sing it out, come on, giants) Giants fall when You stand Undefeated. Every battle You've won (I am) I am who You say I am . (You crown me) You crown me with confidence. I am seated. In the Heavenly place Undefeated (by the power, come on) By the power of Your name. I am seated (in Heaven) In the Heavenly place Undefeated With the One who has conquered it all.

1 Corinthians 11:23-26
23 For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
25 In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
WORSHIP SONG: FOR THE CROSS
Verse 1
The life You gave
Your body was broken
Your love poured out You bled and You died for me
There on the cross
You breathed Your last as You were crucified
You gave it all for me
Chorus 1
Hallelujah what a Savior
Hallelujah what a friend
Hallelujah King forever
We thank You for the cross
Verse 2
There in the ground
Sealed in the darkness
Lifeless laid
The frame of the Father's Son
In agony He watched His only Son be sacrificed
He gave it all for me
Verse 3
But on that day
What seemed as the darkest hour
A violent hope broke through and shook the ground
And as You rose
And the light of all the world was magnified
As You rose in victory
Chorus 2
Hallelujah it is finished
Hallelujah it is done
Hallelujah King forever
And we thank You for the cross
(REPEAT)
And we thank You for the cross
Bridge
Oh my sins are forgiven
You paid the ransom for me
Ending
Though our sins are scarlet
You have made us white as snow
For The Cross
The life You gave
Your body was broken
Your love poured out You bled and You died for me
There on the cross
You breathed Your last as You were crucified
You gave it all for me
Chorus 1
Hallelujah what a Savior
Hallelujah what a friend
Hallelujah King forever
We thank You for the cross

Bridge
I will climb this mountain

WORSHIP SONG: GLORIOUS DAY
Verse 1
I was buried beneath my shame
Who could carry that kind of weight
It was my tomb 'til I met You
Verse 2
I was breathing but not alive
All my failures I tried to hide
It was my tomb 'til I met You
Chorus 1
('Cause when) You called my name
(and) I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness
into Your glorious day
You called my name
(and) I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness
into Your glorious day
Verse 3
Now Your mercy has saved my soul
Now Your freedom is all that I know
The old made new Jesus when I met You
Bridge
I needed rescue my sin was heavy
But chains break at the weight of Your glory
I needed shelter I was an orphan
Now You call me a citizen of Heaven
When I was broken You were my healing
Now Your love is the air that I'm breathing
I have a future my eyes are open
I was buried beneath my shame
Who could carry that kind of weight
It was my tomb 'til I met You
Verse 2
I was breathing but not alive
All my failures I tried to hide
It was my tomb 'til I met You

WORSHIP SONG: GOD WITH US
Verse 1
You are matchless in grace and mercy
There is nowhere we can hide from Your love
You are steadfast, never failing, You are faithful
All creation is in awe of who You are

You are comfort for every heart that mourns
Our King and our Savior forever
For eternity we will sing of all You've done
For eternity we will sing of all You've done

God with us, God for us
Nothing could come against,
no one can stand between us
God with us, God for us
Nothing could come against,
no one can stand between us

BEYOND THE SERMON DISCUSSION:
Questions:
1. Consider the significance of the creator of all things now holding all things together. What struggles in my life are most difficult to fully entrust to Jesus?
2. How do I readjust when my plans are not God's plans?

God has a big story and we can be apart of it!
The environment of storytelling allows our children to understand the great narrative of the Bible, which emphasizes redemption. When we and our children know the story of God, we start to see that we are also a part of this story and desire to find our place in it. We further understand that God is asking us to share our stories of redemption with others so they in turn will be able to find their place His story.
