God sees and knows what we can't. What if God's best for you actually involves a detour? With that lens in mind, how do you reflect on the following scripture?
*God works everything in your life into His wonderful plan for your life. Share about a time when "Plan A" didn't work out, but "Plan B (or C, D, E...)" had surprisingly wonderful outcomes.
What does the following passage teach us about the character of God? About our Detours?
*What seems "out of the way" is often on the way to God's way for us. How does this relate to Joseph's story and the following passage?
The destiny we want often comes through the detours we don't. How do you see this in relation to Jesus and the cross? How might this perspective affect your motivation, perception, and steps in your detour?
God DOES have your best in mind! As your group closes in prayer, specifically ask for greater confidence and hope in this promise.
