Satisfied!
Isaiah 53:10-12

After his resurrection, Jesus was able to look back on his work with a sense of satisfaction. A study of the Scripture reveals 3 reasons Jesus was satisfied when he saw 'the light of life'

I. Following his resurrection Jesus derived satisfaction from being Obedient to his Father's Will

II. Following his resurrection Jesus derived satisfaction from his Validation as the Son of God.

III. Following his resurrection Jesus derived satisfaction from Providing Salvation for Many

Conclusion


It would be hard to exaggerate the magnitude of the change that have taken place as a result of the cross...especially in God's dealing with us and in our relationship with Him. Truly, when Christ died and was raised from death, a new day dawned, a new age began. (The Cross of Christ, John Stott, p. 166)

The Rose on the piano is placed in honor of James who was born to David and Emily H. on Wednesday, April 7th at 10:35 am. James weighed 8lbs 4oz and is 21 1/4" long. Congratulations to David and Emily, and big brother Silas. Congratulations, as well, to James' grandparents, Karen H. and Brenda A.

The Dew Crew Needs You! The youth group is looking for help. We’re looking for volunteer leaders, worship leaders, and those willing to bring a meal for the students that come to the youth group. A Celebration for Dolorez Roth’s 91st birthday has been planned by her family on Saturday, April 17 from 2:00-4:00 pm at East Bend Mennonite Church. Masks are required and her family requests no presents, only your presence to help Dolorez celebrate the occasion.
