Start with the resurrection of Jesus

Tens of thousands of people believed Jesus rose from the dead long before there was a Bible

Eyewitnesses saw a dead Jesus who had come back to life

Christians celebrate not just because of the fact of the resurrection but also because of the implications of the resurrection

The resurrection impacts the way we live our lives

Messiahs / Saviors do not die

When Jesus was crucified, the movement was over

Mary’s hope died when Jesus died

Mary expected to find a body at the tomb

Peter and John did not say, “He’s alive.”

Because Jesus is alive, everything changes for us

Because of the resurrection, you can pray knowing that God hears your prayers

Because of the resurrection, you can live knowing there's life beyond this life

Because of the resurrection, your sacrifice and faithfulness counts

The resurrection of Jesus proved He is exactly who he claimed to be: Savior and Lord
