“Who among the gods is like you, Lord? Who is like you – majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders?”

“There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you.”

Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness, tremble before him, all the earth.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.

HOW SHOULD WE WORSHIP?
PRAISE
The translated word PRAISE in English is one of seven different Hebrew words.
Halal – to rave, boast, celebrate, to be clamorously foolish.
I will thank you in front of the great assembly. I will praise (halal) you before all the people.
Psalm 35:18
Yadah – to worship with an extended hand.
I will praise (yadah) you, oh Lord, with all my heart.
Psalm 138:1
Barak – to bless by kneeling or bowing.
Praise (barak) the Lord, oh my soul; all my inmost being praise (barak) his holy name.
Psalm 103:1
Zamar – which means to pluck the strings of an instrument with joyful expression.
It is good to praise (zamar) the Lord and make music to your name, oh Most High.
Psalm 92:1
Shabach – to shout, to address in a loud tone.
Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise (shabach) you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.

Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn; praise him with the lyre and the harp! Praise him with the tambourine and dancing; praise him with strings and flutes! Praise him with a clash of cymbals; praise him with loud clanging cymbals.
