In general, people are just not good finishers. We leave things undone or just not finished well. Do you have an example of this to share with your group? Such as a goal, house project, commitment, etc.
In order to finish this series well, we are looking at Jesus as Lord of All. Read the following scripture together (this is after Jesus was just given sour wine to drink).

There were several clues that began to hint to the significance of this moment: 3 hours of darkness, the temple veil was torn, an earthquake. How would you have felt witnessing these things!? The following scripture notes a centurion's reaction.
Let's break down three implications of Jesus' final words, "It is finished." Discuss these as a group. How do they impact you personally?
Sins are forgiven.

Hebrews 10:11-12 NLT
Under the old covenant, the priest stands and ministers before the altar day after day, offering the same sacrifices again and again, which can never take away sins. But our High Priest offered himself to God as a single sacrifice for sins, good for all time. Then he sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand.
Connect with God.

2 Cor. 5:19 NLT
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.
New life.

2 Cor. 5:17 NIV
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
Jesus has made all the arrangements for you! Pastor Jonathan shared a couple of analogies to help us make sense of this. Which one most resonated with you?

-Jesus has set a table for you.
-Jesus has paved the way for you.

Perhaps you can think of another analogy?
"It is finished, ...and it's just begun." This means WE must respond. In light of this message and discussion, how will you respond in receiving and sharing the love of Jesus? What are your next steps?
