Spring – Session 2

Believers can celebrate God’s restoring forgiveness.
LUKE 15:20-32

Reunions are special. We love watching videos of soldiers returning home to their families. If we have children away at college, we may look forward to the holidays, spring break, and the summer more than they do. There is nothing like being face-to-face with family. But what if the separation came as a result of wrongdoing or a break in trust? Reunions then take on a different kind of intensity and emotion. Jesus told of the reunion between a man and his family to illustrate the joy we should share when God welcomes home a wayward child.

What do you enjoy about witnessing a reunion? Why should we celebrate reconciliation between people who have been at odds with each other?

Month of Encouragement
Reach out to our brothers and sisters in Christ.

During the Week of Encouragement, we hope to equip you to reach out and encourage other members of First Baptist Church Keller who would benefit from a simple contact or touch from a brother or sister in Christ. Encouragement can be in the form of a phone call, a visit, a card sent, or a special treat. Names of those who would benefit from your encouragement will be provided on contact cards available on Sunday, March 14 in the main hallway outside of the Worship Center. Please take one or more contacts and decide how you would like to bless someone during that week.

Our emotional responses are vitally important to our relationship with God and with others. They are a great opportunity for us to grow in Christlikeness and love. Emotions have the power to enrich relationships or drive wedges into them. Emotions are an essential way in which we bear God’s image.

Rotating Worship Schedule for Adult Bible Study Classes

We are asking each of our Adult Bible Study Classes to rotate to one of our designated remote worship areas (either the Gym or the LOFT) once per month during Worship Service times. This only affects the Worship Service times (8:30 and 11:00 a.m.) and does not affect your Sunday school class time or location. This rotation schedule allows for adequate social distancing during Worship Service times. Thank you for your support and cooperation.

Health and Safety Policy

Our goal is to provide a safe, fully staffed environment in which to teach our children the truth of God’s Word. Our core policies, upon which we will be operating, are posted on our website. Thank you for your patience, service, and love for one another during these unique days.
