There are benefits of overcoming, humility and (perfect love) a loving relationship with God.

– pray and fast to overcome temptations & challenges and dedicate ourselves to God for His plans for us as individuals and corporately as His Church, both now and in this season; Just as Christ did for 40 days and forty nights when entering His call.
-To express our love and worship to God – to grow in our relationship with God
-To humble ourselves before God

The three things that the devil tempted Jesus with was
-Satisfying the hunger of the flesh.
-Testing His identity vs5
-Testing His faith in God.

So when the enemy comes to temp you to satisfy the hunger of the flesh
The word of God- 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

When your identity in Christ is being questioned by the enemy

When you are tempted to lose faith
