BIG IDEA:
Regular and intentional engagement with God's Spirit solidifies a growing intimacy with God and delivers our deepest satisfaction.

"The worth and excellency of a soul is to be measured by the object of its love." (Henry Scougal - Fifteenth Century Theologian)

To know God personally we have to resist the temptation to yield to common sources of man made happiness.

Knowing God Personally is about a relationship characterized by progressive closeness.

God's message to His people through His prophet is "Those who know God personally are cared for and loved by Him".

Life's most authentic pursuit is to have an intimate relationship with God that draws us into alignment with what He delights in.

==> God delights in Unfailing love as the perfect foundation of relationship.

==> God delights in justice as the requirement for relationship.

==> God delights in right living as the fulfillment of relationship.

God wants us to have a close, personal relationship with him characterized by intimacy, simplicity and obedience.
