SAVE THE DATE | NTBYM WINTER RETREAT • No Turning Back Youth Ministries will be hosting their annual Winter Retreat on Friday, February 26th and Saturday, February 27th. We will meet in the CCE Chapel between 6-9pm on Friday and at Camp Gilead in Carnation on Saturday. Dinner on Saturday will be back in Lakemont, with our retreat concluding at 9pm. MISSIONS SPOTLIGHT | GERMANY • This month's featured missionary is The Ibbotson Family. Since, 1998, Kurt, Tiffany, Simon, Andrew, Lillia, and James have been a full time missionary family at Calvary Chapel Leipzig, where Kurt serves as Senior Pastor. In addition to his Pastoral responsibilities, Kurt teaches at the school of discipleship, serves as an elder, and provides counseling, visitation, outreach, Bible study, and prayer. Outside of church activities, Kurt spends one day a week helping at a refugee camp, and he is very involved with his children. Tiffany’s main ministry is being a wife and mother. She leads the Women’s Ministry, serves in the children’s ministry, and reaches out to needy and broken communities! See below to learn more about the Ibbotsons and their work in Germany! SUNDAY SCHOOL • CCE has kicked off our new COVID Safe Sunday School program! There are classes to meet all of your children’s needs: 3 to 5 Years, Kindergarten through 2nd Grade, and 3rd through 5th Grades. Sunday classes begin at 10am in Room 204.

Parents, please download the free KidCheck app and sign in your children on Sunday morning from your home or car. Then when you enter the church, select the print option on your mobile device, and pick up your stickers at the Lobby Information Booth. This way you’ll avoid the queue. :)

JUBILEE REACH GROCERY PROGRAM • Calvary Chapel Eastside is seeking helpers to assist with Food Distribution for the Jubilee Reach Grocery Program.

We are looking for volunteers who can donate funds for grocery items, or bring bags of non-perishable groceries to Jubilee Reach on assigned Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Each bag is paired with boxes of perishable food provided by Jubilee Reach and given to a family in need.

Currently serving 500 families every week, the Jubilee Reach Grocery Program is a wonderful way to serve alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ to help our communities.

Please consider one of three ways you can now safely enjoy your worship experience at Calvary Chapel Eastside:

At Home ~ If you have an elevated temperature or compromised immune system, please join us online from the comfort of your home.

Drive-In ~ If healthy, but not quite ready to integrate, please consider backing into one of our parking spaces on the north side (facing main entry) of the building. A WiFi transmitter has been positioned outside so the north parking lots have a strong livestream signal on both Facebook and YouTube.

You can also tune in to 97.6 FM to pick up our radio signal. At the close of our worship service, ministers will deliver prepackaged communion elements to your car so we can all remember what Christ has done as one unified body.

Come-In ~ Finally, if you’re ready to assemble, please don your mask and join us. If you need a mask, complementary cloth and disposable masks are available in the lobby.

Due to current stipulations, we ask that you wear your mask at all times when you are inside the building.

If you are unable to wear a mask, we have reserved Room 201 (upstairs/west side - nearest 164th), or if you are able to wear a mask but prefer more distancing, we have reserved the Chapel in Room 206 (upstairs/east side). Both locations have live feeds and windows that open to safety locks.

Parents with children may sign in through KidCheck stations on the first floor, near the Lobby Information Booth. Parents are encouraged to set up accounts through the KidCheck app or website (go.kidcheck.com/signin.aspx?action=register), at home on any computer or smart device. On Sunday morning, you will then be able to sign in your children from your home or car. When you enter the church, select the print option on your mobile device, and then pick up your stickers at the Lobby Information Booth before taking your children to our COVID Safe environment in Room 204. Children must wear their badges for the entire time they are in the children's wing, and parents MUST have a guardian receipt to enter the children's wing and pick up their child(ren). We take the safety of our kids very seriously and hope our procedures will give parents a strong sense of security.

Hands-free water faucets and soap dispensers are available in all our restrooms. In addition, we have hands-free sanitizer stations set up throughout the main concourse. Since our water fountains are closed for the time being, cups are provided at the hands-free water bottle filling station in the café. Once you have slaked your thirst, please drop the used cup into the recycle bin.

Seating Options

Inside the sanctuary, rows have been spaced to support social distancing requirements. Households may sit together, but all others need to be an aisle or three seats apart. It is important you sit at the end of an aisle to help create the three-seat separation.

In addition to the sanctuary, we have the Fragrance Free Zone in the back of the room with its own ventilation system, climate control, and restroom.

As mentioned, rooms 201 and 206 (Chapel) are great options for those desiring more separation, with windows that open up to safety locks. Both of these satellites have live feeds so you can follow what is going on in the sanctuary. Please remember to pick up a communion packet in the lobby before heading to either location.

So let the re-gathering of the saints begin! And may our Great God and Savior keep you safe and near His heart, always!

AWANA CLUBS • Calvary Chapel Eastside's Awana program is a great way for young people to draw near to Jesus as they hide God's Word in their hearts. Knowing how God wants us to live out our faith is vitally important to our spiritual health and the future of our children. We have kicked off our 2020-21 season! If you can share a bit of time to helping our children grow nearer to God, please consider volunteering for Awana. We have our Awana Directors in place for the upcoming year, but we still need to fill our Co-Game Director role, as well as leadership positions across all three Awana clubs.
