These questions are provided for your further study and application of today’s sermon. Thoughtfully writing out the answers to these questions will help to drive home the truths we are learning.

1. Was there any passage of scripture or statement in the message today that was particularly meaningful or applicable to you?

2. Read Luke 10:29 and 18:11-12. What are some of the ways the non-Christians you know try to excuse their sin in light of God’s perfect standards? Why is it so difficult for us to talk about the reality of sin and judgment?

3. Read Galatians 6:9-10. Why is it generally more difficult to do good to those who are not “of the household of faith?”

4. Read Titus 2:9-10; 1 Peter 2:12 and Luke 16:9. What are some of the specific ways you can “adorn the doctrine of God our Savior” as a coworker, neighbor, or friend?
