We would all agree that what happened in 2020 was unexpected. Did you know the first Christmas was also incredibly unexpected? It was full of unexpected people who were part of totally unexpected events that led to an unexpected rescue operation. Who would have thought that a godly peasant girl would get unexpectedly pregnant, heavenly angels would announce the coming of a king to and an unexpected group - some lowly shepherds, a helpless baby supposed to be king would be born in a manger and heaven would establish a beachhead on earth amidst cows, donkeys and dung? It’s not what God’s people were expecting and because of that many missed what God was doing in it all and what He had planned. But for those who saw God’s fingerprints in the unexpected and believed, everything changed. God did the unexpected that Christmas so we can live with expectation today.

This year we will receive a special Christmas Eve offering at both campuses that will provide food, clothing, medicine, and help with heating/electricity bills that are overwhelming many families. Because Love Does...we want to join together as a church and take real action to sacrificially help others.
The goal is to crowdfund this need and help 100 families in our area. Just think, if we all gave $29.95 we would be able to make a huge impact with families and meet some of the tremendous needs in our area (some can add a zero on the end and multiply their gift). It's who we are at The Valley!

Hope for Honduras
Hurricane Eta hit the country of Honduras on Tuesday, November 3rd. Possessions, homes, and lives were lost. An already impoverished country has even less. Please partner with us in sending down supplies to help. Check out the link below for more information and a supply list. You can drop any items from Mon-Fri 11am-6pm and Saturdays 10am-4pm at the trailer outside of our church. Elementary Life Groups
Virtual Life Groups create a safe space for kids to consistently connect with other kids and leaders to talk about the important things like faith and even farts (if you've ever led a boys life group, you know). Each life group will last 30 minutes and coordinate with our Valley Kids at Home curriculum. So whether you're onsite, online, or at home-you can join us for life group.
