The Content Life (Wk3)

The Content Life (Wk3)

This three-week series explores what it means to appreciate God’s goodness. Gratitude helps protect us from living a life of selfishness, gluttony, or pride while enabling us to see the beauty in what God brings to us. When we offer thankfulness to God for his work in our lives, it allows us to better find contentment in his love and grace.

hey
Big Idea of the Message: A thankful heart is a cheerful heart; it always gives joyfully and generously.
1) OUR SECURITY IS JESUS
(Write notes below)
2) OUR CELEBRATION IS JESUS
(Write notes below)
DEFINITION:
Precedent - an earlier event that is regarded as a example or guide to be considered in subsequent or similar future event.
3) OUR PROVISION IS JESUS
(Write notes below)
HAS GOD BLESSED YOU? HAVE YOU WITNESSED HIS GRACE AND LOVE IN YOUR LIFE?
Application Point: Don’t wish for disaster to come to those outside God’s kingdom; instead, look for ways to reach out to them with God’s love.
Generosity is detrimental to the kingdom of hell.

Here is the thing…that is a heart issue that boils down to a root issue of value/worth.
This space left open to write notes as Pastor Josh seems to go down rabbit trails...
