Pastor Joseph Salajan's Bio
Pastor Joe was born in the little town of Crasna (Romania). Ever since he was a child, he has been fascinated by the unique connection between pastors and their special book, the Bible. When at the age of 7 he received his first little Bible from a brave pastor who was able to procure it for him in spite of the interdictions of the communist regime, he felt special and decided one day he would become a pastor.

After serving as a Pastor for 8 years in Romania, in 2013 he immigrated to the USA. He currently serves as Lead Pastor of Plantation Seventh-day Adventist Church. Along with his wonderful wife Anda and their gorgeous daughter Alessandra, he enjoys proclaiming God’s grace and ministering to his fellows.

Pastor Joe is currently enrolled in a doctoral Program (DMin in Preaching) with Andrews University. His hobbies are languages, music, and poetry.

The 7 trumpets signal acts of divine justice on those who persecute his faithful people. After the first 4 trumpets (Rev. 8), John sees an eagle flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice,
Then chapter 9 describes trumpets 5 and 6 (1st and 2nd woes)...But the 7th trumpet (3rd woe) only appears around the end of chapter 11. So chapters 10 and much of chapter 11 is like an interlude that describes things that are happening between the 6th and 7th trumpet.
Then chapter 9 describes trumpets 5 and 6 (1st and 2nd woes)… But the 7th trumpet (3rd woe) only appears around the end of chapter 11. So chapters 10 and much of chapter 11 is like an interlude that describes things that are happening between the 6th and the 7th trumpet.
The message is clear: No matter how rough things become, I am in control!!! Yes, this planet is invaded by demonic forces (5th trumpet); it is woe, woe, woe… It looks like things have run out of control. But don’t worry! You’re not alone! We’re ripping it together!
This posture of the mighty angel expresses two of the divine qualities. One is omnipresence… In the Bible sea and land… is a way of saying the entire planet Earth. (Imagine the globe: it has sea and land…) The mighty angel is everywhere… The other divine feature is omnipotence: He has the entire planet under his feet, and he roars like a lion…
To understand this, we have to go to the Book of Daniel… The Book of Revelation is the continuation of the Book of Daniel. It’s like vol. 1 and vol. 2 of the same prophetic book.
Get the picture: when Daniel asked how long will the persecution of the saints last, the heavenly messenger lifts up his hands and swears: “a time, times, and half a time”. In Rev. 10 (where the context is the persecutors of God’s people) the mighty angel lift up one hand (the open scroll is in the other hand) and swears: “there will be no longer time.” Time is done/up!
There is no more delimited time period (chronos)… BUT… 7 but [only] in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets. (Rev. 10:7) We haven’t reached the finish line yet! Something has to happen before!!!
This is Old Testament imagery… in which the Millerites identified their own bitter-sweet experience in October 1844. The prophetic message of Jesus’ coming (based on the Book of Daniel) was sweet to their mouths, but when they had to face the mockery of people (because they made mistakes in their interpretation and set dates…), it became bitter…
But history goes on! Now comes the divine mandate for the last boarding call:

11 And he said to me, "You MUST prophesy again (!) about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings." (Rev. 10:11NKJ) This was the divine mandate that gave power to those Millerites/early Adventists to pass that bitter-sweet experience and move on prophesying.
That’s how Adventists started… They understood: the work was not complete yet! They had to prophesy again… little by little they understood that the call has to go to the entire world.
And that still our divine mandate today!!! Please notice: we must prophesy specifically with regard to many peoples, nation, tongs and kings. The prophetic message has to be relevant; the prophet has to go where people are. A prophet that prophesies in a language that people can’t understand is not a true prophet. Prophecy has to be relevant! Only if you are relevant can you be redemptive…
Make a last boarding call! Make that last call sound like a last call.
