What is it like when faith is more than a category?
- What does it mean to walk by faith an not by sight?
Big Idea:
Walking by faith is our everyday confidence, internally and externally, in God and His promises for us.
Walking by faith is our everyday confidence, internally and externally, in God and His promises for us.
Faith is living everyday with the conviction that we believe in an unseen God whose promises are guaranteed to sustain our lives.
>>> Unstoppable Faith is possible when we ignore the distractions of this world.
In Matthew 14:22-33 Peter begins to sink when he allowed himself to be distracted by what he saw.
We need to be on the alert for the three enemies to living by faith not by sight and those three enemies are:
- The lust of the eye
- The lust of the flesh
- Pride of life
>>> A life of unstoppable faith is anchored on obedience.
Our best navigation of the course of life is through obedience to the one who created the course and following His guidance daily
Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego chose to obey God and not the political authority during their time.
