Thinking Critically and Christianly About Mental Health

A recent study reported that 1 in 5 adults have a mental health condition and mental health issues are growing among youth. How should Christians view and approach mental illness? What about therapy or medication to treat mental illness? Where does mental illness intersect with discipleship and prayer?
These questions and more will be discussed in this seminar led by John Richardson, Executive Pastor of Discipleship and Board Certified Pastoral Counselor. John will explore the impact of mental illness, various approaches to dealing with mental illness, a biblical understanding and the church’s response to this epidemic in our society.
If you have been diagnosed with a mental illness, you know someone who has, or if you are interested in learning more, this seminar is for you.
