Lions in the Scripture are symbolic of strength, courage and respect the strength in other lions. They don’t have time for tact or finesse.
The Old Testament prophets Joel and Isaiah told us:
“The Lord roars from Zion, and utters his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earthquake. But the Lord is a refuge to his people, a stronghold to the people of Israel.” “Their roaring is like a lion, like young lions, they growl and seize their prey; they carry it off, and none can rescue.”

I believe it is time for believers to rise up and begin to let their voices be heard. Every generation must contend for the faith. And the old lions make room for the young lions to arise.

C. S. Lewis wrote the Chronicles of Narnia & understood the power of the roar. In the book The Lion, the Witch and Wardrobe, Aslan made this statement before the battle: “And now to business, I feel I am going to roar. You had better put your fingers in your ears.” and “Then with a roar that shook all Narnia from the western lamp-post to the shores of the eastern sea the great beast flung himself upon the White Witch.”

1. ALL BELIEVERS SHOULD ROAR WITH BOLDNESS IN PRAISE AND WORSHIP.

I believe a demonic spirit of fear was unleashed on the earth at the beginning of this year. And Christians and unbelievers alike have been paralyzed by the fear of a virus from China. The media roared into our hearing the words of incurable disease and death. However, the enemy has overplayed his hand and our God is still the author of the roar!
Something supernatural is released when we abandon ourselves to praise and worship the Lord.

All over our nation he has been roaring with the praises of God and multitudes of young men and women respond to the gospel.

Pastor Paul Daugherty uttered a powerful statement: “Stir up a holy roar of boldness in the face of fear.” Sunday, October 26th another minister Dr. Charles Karuku prayed for our nation and afterwards he was attacked by a satanic protestor who dumped blood all over him.
Dr. Karuku later wrote on Facebook, “Devil is mad. Witches are rattled. Their power is broken.” I’m going to keep the blood-stained clothes as a badge of honor for Jesus! Pleading the blood of Jesus. This movement is unstoppable.”

2. IT'S TIME TO ROAR WITH OUR WORDS

During World War II, the Prime Minister of England, Winston Churchill said, “I was not the lion but it fell to me to give the lion’s roar.”

When the church was closed due to the virus, Pastor Paul Daughtery in Tulsa held his services outside and he preached from the roof of the church and it was known as “rooftop revival”.
I believe the Lord is looking for individuals who are willing to speak words of truth. Our God qualifies those who are willing! Are you willing to speak to your family, friends, co-workers and acquaintances the truth in love?

We pray for wisdom, understanding, counsel and insight every weekday at noon. You might say, I am roaring with my words for our nation to be blessed and God’s mercy to be given us. I am willing to do my part with my prayers and encourage others to do the same.

3. IT IS TIME FOR OUR ACTIONS TO SPEAK LOUDER THAN OUR WORDS

Pastor Mark Batterson wrote a book, In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day . In chapter 6 he said, “There is no such thing as risk-free faith.
Pastor Mark also compiled a list from his book: What excuses are you making? – I’m too busy, I’m not qualified, I’m too qualified, I’ve got too many problems, I don’t have enough money, I’m not ready yet!. News flash – we will never be ready.
We either run to the roar of the lion facing us or we retreat and miss our opportunities to make a difference in our world.

Wherever you are, be on alert to and he said the schemes and strategies of the enemy. We are our brother’s keeper!
Young lions are willing to take action, witness to others about the Lord, VOTE, offer to drive someone to the polls, make some phone calls, ask your pastors where you can serve best.

Do not allow apathy to overpower you. We run to the roar and dismantle the power of darkness. Our actions silence the roar of the enemy in our life.

Witches are brazenly attacking children all over the world The strength we have is for us to serve others in the spirit of the Lord. Young lions are strong but that strength is for service not status.
