God made men and women unique
In God’s Word we find the truth for how it all works best
Women Value Love More than Most Anything
God made women internally to desire to be cherished, valued as “first in importance” (Genesis 2:24)
Being actively engaged in communication, feeling emotionally close and having her heart known is how she feels love (She desires deep conversations; She desires affection and romance)
Husbands are told to actively and continually love their wives
Treating women with value, understanding and open communication makes a great difference
Loving Your Wife Well
Our example of how to love is how Jesus loved us
“Earned love” or “Unconditional love”?
A man should be willing to sacrifice anything in order to love his wife (Sacrificial servant style leadership; A man needs to work at his marriage more than anything else)
His love should move his wife towards Jesus (Spiritual Leadership in the home builds trust; Sexual infidelity crushes a women’s spirit)
His love should meet her felt needs (A wife desires help in the home – shared responsibility; A wife desires partnership in finances)
Our love must be unbreakable (Integrity is foundational for trust; Divorce should never be mentioned or threatened)
