Groups at First Free

Groups at First Free are a place to belong. Groups provide an environment for discipleship and study. They give opportunities for hospitality. They help us to grow and learn about God, the Bible, ourselves, and each other. Groups do not supplant the church, but they provide a setting where believers can more fully realize what it means to be the church. To learn more and find your fit, click the link below!
Men's Fall Bible Study
Delve into God’s Word and create and strengthen friendships that hold one another accountable. God uses relationships to teach, embolden, and help us live out a gospel-centered life. We can’t do it alone!

Men’s weekly Bible studies meet on Wednesdays @ 6:45 pm and Fridays @ 6:00 am. Both sessions meet in the Chapel. Join in any week that fits your schedule!

This fall we will be studying The Grave Robber – How Jesus Can Make Your Impossible Possible by Mark Batterson.

Our fall baptism will take place on November 10, in both Sunday morning services. If you haven’t been baptized, we encourage you to prayerfully consider this act of obedience. Sign-ups are open at! Sign-ups close on November 7.

Women in Church Leadership Forum

The Elders have been studying the topic of Women in Church Leadership, and want to hear from the congregation. We will be hosting a forum on November 10 at 12:15 pm in the Activity Center to hear opinions and get feedback. A light lunch will be provided and childcare is available. Please register below!
Worship Together Service
We’re having a Worship Together service on November 17, and this is going to be a special service in a few different ways. We’ll be having just one service, at 10:45 am. Kid Connection will be open for kids from birth through pre-K, but kids from kindergarten and up, plus all of our students and adults, will worship together in the main auditorium. Also, we’ll be having some fun activities for you and your family before service at 9:30 in Kid Connection and Room 110. This is a great opportunity to bring friends and family to check out our church!
Don Erehart Farewell
We’re celebrating Don Erehart on November 17 with a lunch in the Activity Center at 12:15. Please join us and wish Don well on his new adventure!
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is an easy way to bless a child and spread the gospel this Christmas. Pick up a box from the table in the lobby or at an entrance, fill it up, and bring your filled boxes to the old Nursery (just drop them on the counter) by November 17th.

Financial Peace Live

Financial Peace Live will give you the momentum you need to kick-start your financial goals. In one exciting night, Dave Ramsey and Chris Hogan will teach you the seven-step plan that has helped nearly six million people get out of debt, build wealth, and retire with dignity. You work too hard to have nothing to show for it! Join us on November 20 at 6:30 pm in Room 110. Take Back Black Friday

Each year, we encourage our church family to spend less so that we can give more. Our yearly Take Back Black Friday offering has been used to support people in need of mercy and grace wherever we find them - whether in Lebanon, Burkina Faso, or in our own neighborhood. This year, funds raised will be split between two projects: Bridge of Hope Ministries in north St. Louis city, and Jireh Ministries in India. We'll be taking our offering in service on November 24. Learn more about the projects and give online any time by following the link below!

Promises of Christmas (Women's Dessert Night)

Join us on December 4 or 5 for our annual Women's Christmas Dessert night! This uplifting night of music, desserts, and stories will help you believe in the promises of Christmas. We've added a second night this year - space goes quickly, so gather your friends and neighbors and register today!

Holy Land Tour 2020

Our 2019 trip to Israel was amazing! We visited the Sea of Galilee, explored the ruins of Herod’s mountain palace in Masada, walked on the Mount of Olives, floated in the Dead Sea, and walked in the old city of Jerusalem where Jesus gave His life for us. Due to the incredibly high response from this trip and the number of people who wanted to go but could not this year, we’re considering another trip in the spring of 2020.If you are interested in joining us, please let us know at
