Come as You Are

· Everyone must come to Jesus simply as they are

· We don’t clean ourselves up to come to Jesus

· We must come humbly, in our guilt and sin

· Everyone who comes humbly for grace, finds it


Die to Sin’s Penalty and Power

· The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23)

· Jesus died in our place to face both physical and spiritual death for us

· When we believe in Jesus we are spiritually made to participate in His death, in His atonement for us

· We receive eternal life (John 11:25-26)

· We also are released from sins power (2 Corinthians 5:17, John 8:36)


Raised Clean, to a New Life

· Just as we are made to participate in His death, we also participate in His resurrection

· We are completely forgiven – our sins washed away! (Jeremiah 31:34, Matthew 1:21)

· We are raised to a new life following Jesus


Walk with Jesus in a Different Direction

· Jesus changes your life – you go in a new direction

· We have been stamped with our new heavenly culture

· We are given a new purpose of making disciples

· We seek to walk after Jesus and live for the day when we will see Him
