As the family of God gathered at the Dewey Community Church, we rejoice with you and give thanks for Audrey’s life. We commit ourselves to nurture her in the gospel that leads to spiritual life. We will model for her lives lived in obedience to Christ to help make your task both joyful and fruitful. May God help us to be faithful to this end.

In the Worship service, Pastor Neal will continue the series, “Seeing What Jesus Saw.” The goal of the series is to see people and events through Jesus’ eyes so that we can respond as Jesus did. The sermon text is Mark 8:27-38.

All are invited to Dennis and Debbie B's home to enjoy hot dogs and other culinary delights. Mike and Heidi R. will be joining and we will have an opportunity to express our appreciation for their ministry over the past thirteen years.
This Little Light of Mine Apparel Fundraiser: Stop by the table across from the offices to order TLLOM t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies. The preschool has a new design and nice quality apparel from “Inspire by Laura Jean.”
Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Boxes: The Dewey Church will once again participate in “Operation Christmas Child” sponsored by Samaritan’s Purse. The shoeboxes will bring joy to children around the world and are distributed with a clear presentation of the gospel. Boxes and packing information will be available next Sunday. The boxes need to be returned to DCC on or before Sunday, November 15.
The Dewey Ladies’ Book Club will meet on Thursday, October 29 at 7:00 pm at Rhonda H's home (check the church director or contact the office for her address). The group will be discussing “The Orphan Sisters” by Shirley Dickson. All women of the congregation and community are welcome to participate. Bring snacks to enjoy following the discussion.
The Stewardship Committee/DCC Leadership Team will be meeting on Tuesday, November 3 at 7:00 pm. All leaders of the Christian Education Committee, Fellowship Committee, Worship Committee and Preschool are encouraged to attend.
Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday, November 1. Don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour and enjoy and extra hour of sleep.
