1. Highlight the sentences in the first four readings that most reveal the gentleness of Jesus?
2. In what ways are you weary and burdened? In what ways has Jesus given you rest? What is the yoke to which Jesus is referring? How was the yoke of Jesus different than the yoke of the law?
3. Describe the ways in which Abigail, David and Paul were gentle.
4. Why is gentleness so often likened to weakness? What is the difference?
5. Look at the Key Verse. Why do you think Paul put those two sentences together?
